Abstract

The development of education and the increasingly dynamic demands of the workforce require university students to possess not only academic abilities but also creativity and independence in facing various challenges. Edupreneurship is an approach that can encourage students to develop ideas, create innovations, solve problems, and utilize opportunities through practical learning processes. This study aims to analyze the role of edupreneurship in enhancing students’ creativity and independence through a literature study. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method by reviewing relevant scholarly sources, including journal articles, books, and research publications related to edupreneurship, creativity, student independence, and entrepreneurship education. The data were analyzed through the stages of identification, selection, classification, analysis, and synthesis of previous research findings. The results indicate that edupreneurship contributes to enhancing students’ creativity through idea development, project-based learning, technology utilization, and real-world problem solving. In addition, edupreneurship can strengthen students’ independence by developing their ability to make decisions, manage time and resources, and take responsibility for the processes and outcomes of their activities. Therefore, edupreneurship can serve as an educational approach that supports the development of students’ creativity, independence, and competencies in a more comprehensive manner.
