Abstract

The determination of the Qibla direction is a crucial preliminary step for Muslims prior to prayer. However, individuals with visual impairments frequently encounter challenges in accurately identifying this direction. To address this issue, this research proposes the development of a digital Qibla direction guide bracelet, which aims to facilitate the navigation of blind individuals towards the Qibla direction with greater precision and ease. The system employs an Arduino Nano as the primary microcontroller, a GPS sensor to ascertain the user's location, and a compass sensor to identify the Qibla direction. Moreover, a buzzer is employed as a feedback mechanism, emitting a vibration signal or sound upon the successful determination of the Qibla direction. The experimental outcomes demonstrate that this bracelet is capable of accurately detecting the Qibla direction and providing clear and readily comprehensible guidance for the visually impaired. This bracelet is anticipated to serve as a practical and efficacious solution, enabling the blind to engage in worship with greater autonomy and comfort
