Abstract

This study examines psychological capital, supportive work environment, and work autonomy in relation to employee performance, with resilience as a mediator. A cross-sectional survey of 190 employees at the Environmental and Forestry Agency of the Special Region of Yogyakarta was analyzed using PLS-SEM. Psychological capital and work autonomy were positively associated with performance, whereas supportive work environment showed a significant negative association. All three predictors were positively associated with resilience; however, resilience neither significantly predicted performance nor mediated these relationships. The findings highlight the importance of psychological resources and appropriate work autonomy while suggesting further examination of workplace support mechanisms.
