Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the quality of facilities and infrastructure on students' learning outcomes in the subject of Fiqh for Grade VII at MTs Negeri Gowa. A quantitative approach was employed using the correlational method. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation of students' report card scores, with a total of 36 respondents. The results showed that the quality of facilities and infrastructure at MTs Negeri Gowa was categorized as moderate, with the majority of respondents (69.4%) rating it within this category. Analysis of students' learning outcomes indicated that most students (61%) achieved learning outcomes in the moderate category, with a score range of 86–91. Hypothesis testing using linear regression analysis revealed that the quality of facilities and infrastructure did not significantly affect students' learning outcomes, as the t-value (1.254) was lower than the t-table value (1.690) and the significance value was 0.218 (p > 0.05). Nevertheless, students' overall learning outcomes were generally good, suggesting the presence of other factors contributing to the improvement of learning outcomes. This study concludes that although the quality of facilities and infrastructure does not directly influence students' learning outcomes, the adequate utilization of such resources remains essential to support an optimal learning environment. Further research is recommended to explore other factors that may impact students' learning outcomes, such as teaching quality and students' motivation.
