Abstract

This study aims to explain how legal protection is in cases of workers who are laid off due to the Covid-19 pandemic based on Law Number 11 of 2020, with an analysis of the case of the Supreme Court's decision Number 20/Pdt.Sus-PHI/2021/PN Dps. The research method used is a normative legal research method in the form of collecting qualitative data sourced from various literature studies. The results of this study indicate that there is harmony in the formation of labor protection laws that aim to practically protect workers. This is done by providing a fair value for workers in the form of severance pay and money for their work before being unemployed.
