Multicultural education is an important approach to addressing student diversity in school environments. This study aims to analyze the implementation of multicultural education in fostering students’ values of tolerance and equality at SMK Bakti Karya Parigi Pangandaran. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research involved three informants consisting of one foundation head and two students. Interviews were conducted for three hours, and the data were validated through technique triangulation. The findings show that multicultural education is implemented through the integration of multicultural materials into the curriculum, interfaith prayer practices, activities introducing linguistic and cultural diversity through the 28 Languages Festival, and social interactions within the school environment. The value of tolerance is fostered through respect for differences in religion, culture, language, and regional background, while the value of equality is demonstrated through equal educational opportunities regardless of students’ backgrounds and through more egalitarian patterns of interaction between teachers and students. These findings indicate that multicultural education at SMK Bakti Karya Parigi is not only implemented through classroom learning but has also become part of the school culture. This study provides an illustration that the integration of curriculum, habituation, cross-cultural activities, and social interaction can serve as approaches to fostering tolerance and equality in diverse school environments.
