Foundations are a critical component of building construction as they serve as the primary structural support for the superstructure. This study analyzes the foundation work carried out in a residential housing construction project at Taman Mutiara Residential Complex, West Jakarta, with the aim of evaluating the effectiveness of the foundation construction process in terms of technical implementation, time efficiency, and the challenges encountered during execution. The research employed a case study approach incorporating field observations and quantitative analysis of the project's technical data. The collected data included the type of foundation used, material specifications, construction methods, and factors influencing the successful execution of the foundation work. The evaluation covered all stages of construction, including site excavation, reinforcement installation, concrete casting, and post-casting curing. In addition, project management analysis was conducted to assess the conformity between the planned and actual implementation based on the aspects of time, cost, and quality. The results indicate that the shallow foundation system adopted in this project complied with the applicable construction standards, including SNI 2847:2019. Nevertheless, several challenges were identified during the construction process, particularly delays in material delivery and technical errors in reinforcement installation. These issues affected the project schedule but were successfully addressed through corrective measures and improved field supervision, allowing the project to maintain the required construction quality standards.
