General Background Modern education requires learners to link conceptual knowledge with real-world issues, positioning mathematics as a strategic tool for data-driven decisions regarding social and environmental challenges. Specific Background Pupils frequently perceive mathematics as abstract and disconnected from reality, resulting in suboptimal interdisciplinary comprehension and limited environmental awareness. Knowledge Gap Previous research primarily focuses on cognitive outcomes or applies environmental awareness solely within natural science subjects, leaving a noticeable gap in interdisciplinary mathematics instruction. Aims This research analyzes how the application of contextual education integrated with religious ecological values shapes the interdisciplinary analytical abilities of high school cohorts studying statistics. Results A posttest-only control group experiment at MAN 1 Lamongan demonstrated that the experimental group achieved a higher average score (82.25) and classical completeness (78%) compared to the conventional control group (78.63 and 72%, respectively), showing statistically significant differences (p = 0.006). Novelty This study pioneers the simultaneous integration of structured contextual problem-solving and Islamic ecological theology within statistics, transforming abstract calculations into tangible religious and environmental responsibilities. Implications Fostering ecological awareness through mathematics provides a meaningful pedagogical framework that schools can adopt to build environmentally responsible character alongside cognitive proficiency. Highlights The experimental cohort utilizing contextual environmental issues achieved a superior average statistics score of 82.25. Tenth-grade pupils demonstrated profound interdisciplinary understanding by linking statistical concepts to religious obligations regarding nature. Conventional instructional methods yielded lower classical completeness rates compared to the structurally applied contextual methodology.
