Abstract

The transformation of the health system has encouraged the adoption of digital technology in healthcare services, one of which is the Mobile JKN application developed by BPJS Kesehatan to facilitate participants’ access to healthcare services. Although various features are available, the utilization of the application among JKN participants remains varied, and not all features have been optimally utilized. This study aimed to describe attitude toward behavior, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, cues to action, and the utilization of the Mobile JKN application at Ranomuut Public Health Center. This study employed a descriptive quantitative method with accidental sampling. The respondents were 106 JKN participants who had previously utilized the Mobile JKN application. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed univariately using frequency distributions and percentages. The results showed that most respondents had a positive attitude (97.2%), high subjective norm support (85.8%), high perceived behavioral control (88.7%), and high cues to action (69.8%). The utilization of the application was classified as active at 68.9%. The most frequently utilized feature was service registration (queue) by 89 respondents, while several other features had never been utilized. Although most respondents demonstrated conditions that supported application utilization, its use was still primarily associated with the need for healthcare services and had not yet become a regular habit. Therefore, strengthening education and assistance in application use, as well as optimizing underutilized features according to healthcare service needs, is necessary.
