Abstract

This study aimed to examine the influence of Chromebook use on the learning creativity of ninth-grade students at SMP Negeri 3 Minas. A quantitative approach with a correlational design was employed. The population consisted of 72 students, with 37 students selected using purposive sampling based on active Chromebook usage. Data were collected using a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed with Spearman’s correlation using JASP software due to non-normal distribution. The result showed a positive and significant correlation (ρ = 0,668; p < 0,001), indicating that Chromebook use contributed 44,6% to the variation in students’ learning creativity. These findings suggest that digital devices, when integrated pedagogically, can enhance students’ creative thinking and problem-solving skills. Implications for teachers, schools, and future research are discussed to optimize technology integration in education.
