Abstract

Abstract. The Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on education, causing a switch from conventional learning to distance (online) learning. This change in the learning model has put special pressure on teachers, especially kindergarten teachers. This research aimed to examine the relationship between social support and psychological well-being in kindergarten teachers during the Covid-19 pandemic. Research respondents were kindergarten teachers (N = 85) in Surabaya selected using purposive sampling techniques. The scales used were the social support scale and psychological well-being scale compiled by the researchers. The research results showed a positive relationship between social support and psychological well-being in kindergarten teachers during the Covid-19 pandemic. The other results showed that the higher the social support from colleagues, the higher the psychological well-being of kindergarten teachers.

Abstract

Abstract. One of the things that individuals focused on in emerging adulthood was their physical appearance and their concern for body image. Body image was a person's perception of their body. This study aimed to look at the relationship between gratitude and body image. Participants in this study totaled 99 women (Mean age 20.64 / SD age 1.81) in emerging adulthood who had experienced body shaming. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling. The research instrument used gratitude and body image scales. The data analysis technique used in this study was product moment correlation. The results showed a positive relationship between gratitude and body image with a correlation value of 0.289 and p = 0.004 (p < 0.05) with an effective contribution of 8.3%. That is, the higher the gratitude, the more positive the body image would be. The results of the study could be used as an intervention design.

Abstract

Domestic violence (DV) has a negative impact on women, especially older adults who have endured it for the longest periods compared to other age groups. After separation, they need psychological well-being (PWB), which first requires going through a period of Post-Traumatic Growth (PTG). This involves positive coping after trauma, including greater appreciation for life, personal strength, spiritual change, closer relationships, and new possibilities (Tedeschi & Calhoun, 2012). Following PTG, these factors are adapted and directed toward good PWB, defined as the ability to accept oneself, maintain positive relationships, live independently, control one’s environment, have clear life goals, and strive for growth (Ryff, 1995). This study aims to describe the PWB of women survivors of domestic violence. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with three older adult informants. The findings show that all three informants underwent PTG: they adopted a growth mindset to develop themselves, sought help from others, recognized the importance of social support, deepened spirituality, and strengthened their relationship with God. These aspects contributed to excellent PWB, as all informants were able to accept themselves and forgive the past; maintain positive relationships with family, friends, and children; live autonomously; master their environment; achieve life goals and satisfaction; and strive for betterment for themselves, God, and others. Protective and risk factors also influenced their PWB

Abstract

Air Susu Ibu (ASI) adalah asupan alami yang tidak tergantikan. Target Pemerintah agar 80% ibu menyusui minimal 6 bulan belum tercapai. Untuk mengantisipasinya dilakukan Promosi Kesehatan dengan penyuluhan dan bacaan (buku karya peneliti). Studi ini meneliti efektivitas intervensinya. Metode penelitian: I) kelompok 45 ibu hamil yang pernah diberi intervensi suluh (S), atau bacaan (B), atau suluh+bacaan (S+B), dan sekarang anak sudah berumur lebih dari enam bulan. Kepada mereka dikirim (per surat) kuesioner dengan pilihan jawaban (analisis one shot case study); II) kelompok eksperimen pre-post test design, terdiri dari 30 ibu hamil dan 30 ibu pasca melahirkan kurang dari 1 bulan. Tiap kelompok dibagi tiga sub-kelompok (a 10 orang) yang masing-masing mendapat intervensi S, atau B, atau S+B. Hasil kelompok I: sebanyak 84% ibu berhasil menyusui lebih dari enam bulan. Secara keseluruhan (untuk kelompok I dan II) dapat disimpulkan bahwa ke-tiga intervensi berperan positif dalam meningkatkan sikap dan wawasan, dengan intervensi S+B paling kuat berpengaruh pada kelompok II. Hasil ini dapat diimplementasikan pada Promosi Kesehatan untuk menggalakkan ibu menyusui

Abstract

Indonesian language (Bahasa) lesson is one of the lessons which was tested each year in the national exams. The average of Indonesian’s grade is 65, which is below the kriteria kelengkapan minimal (KKM = minimal completeness criteria) value (70). Values obtained were also influenced by students' learning methods provided by the teacher. The purpose of this study is to test the effectiveness of STAD methods to improve the performance of Bahasa lesson for junior high school children. Participants of thisstudy were 72 students in junior high school, who were divided into an experimental group (36 students) who receive the STAD method, and 36 students as the control who receive the traditional learning. This study use an experimental pre- and posttest design with switching replications. Results (p< .05) reveal that STAD could increase Bahasa (Indonesian language) achievement in junior high school. Bahasa Indonesia adalah salah satu yang diujikan dalam ujian nasional. Rata-rata nilai yang diperoleh (65) berada di bawah nilai kriteria kelengkapan minimal KKM (70). Nilai yang diperoleh juga dipengaruhi metode belajar siswa yang diperoleh dari guru. Studi ini menguji kefektifan metode pembelajaran kooperatif STAD (Student Teams-Achievement Divisions) untuk memperbaiki nilai Bahasa Indonesia di sekolah menengah pertama pada ujian nasional. Sampel (N=72) adalah siswa dari sekolah percontohan yang berstandar nasional, yang memiliki nilai rata- rata di bawah KKM untuk Bahasa Indonesia. Sampel dibagi dua: 36 siswa sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan menerima pembelajaran kooperatif STAD, dan 36 siswa lainnya sebagai kelompok kontrol yang memakai pembelajaran tradisional. Studi ini menggunakan desain eksperimen dengan pra- dan pasca-uji dengan replikasi bergantian. Hasil menunjukkan (p< .05) bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif STAD meningkatkan nilai Bahasa Indonesia pada siswa sekolah menengah pertama

Abstract

A drug user who wants to recover must have a strong motivation. One factor that may influence drug users to recover is the perception of family social support. Subjects (N = 24) are adolescent drug users who are going through rehabilitation process, with their age ranging from 20 – 23 years old. The sampling method used is purposive sampling, while the data collection is conducted by using Perception ofFamily Social Support Scale and Motivation to RecoverScale. The data obtained were processed by using Kendall’s Tau-b non-parametric statistical correlation technique. The correlation coefficient obtained is .642 with p = .000 (p ≤ .05), which means that there is a relationship between perception of family social support with motivation to recover in adolescent drug users. Seorang pengguna narkoba yang ingin sembuh harus memiliki motivasi yang kuat untuk sembuh. Salah satu faktor yang dapat memengaruhi pengguna narkoba untuk sembuh adalah persepsinya terhadap dukungan sosial oleh keluarga. Subjek penelitian (N=24) adalah remaja pengguna narkoba yang sedang menjalani proses penyembuhan di panti rehabilitasi dengan kisaran usia 17-23 tahun. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara purposive sampling, sedangkan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisa data statistika non parametrik Kendall’s Tau-B. Hasil analisis mendapatkan koefisien korelasi sebesar .642 dengan p = .000 (p ≤ .05) yang berarti bahwa terdapat hubungan antara persepsi terhadap dukungan sosial oleh keluarga dengan motivasi untuk sembuh pada remaja pengguna narkoba. Secara deskriptif diperoleh hasil bahwa sebagian besar subjek penelitian mempunyai persepsi terhadap dukungan sosial oleh keluarga yang tergolong sedang (50%) dan tinggi (45.833%) sedangkan sebagian besar subjek memiliki motivasi untuk sembuh yang tinggi (62.5%).

Abstract

The WHO target of achieving 80% success rate of breastfeeding mothers for a minimum of 6 months has not been met, so a program had been performed on 105 pregnant and post-delivery women through counseling and literary interventions. Six months after delivery they were traced back and a questionnaire of three open ended questions was sent by mail to them. A total of 45 women responded to the questionnaire. They were asked about the benefits of the interventions, the prosperity enjoyed, and of suggestions to encouraged breastfeeding behavior. The answers were qualitatively analyzed. Results showed that after the interventions, they got more under- standing, motivated, and happy. They experienced physical, psychological, and social well-beings. Unfortunately medical teams and the community were not fully participating yet in encouraging mothers to breastfeed. It is recommended to promote breastfeeding through competent moti-vators for the welfare of families and nation. Promosi dilakukan pada 105 ibu hamil dan pasca-melahirkan. Kelompok ini ditelusuri kembali setelah 6 bulan melahirkan. Kepada mereka ditanya per surat tiga pertanyaan terbuka tentang manfaat intervensi, kesejahteraan yang dinikmati melalui ASI, dan saran untuk menggalakkan pemberian ASI. Sebanyak 45 ibu yang menyampaikan jawabannya. Jawaban dianalisis melalui metode kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa para ibu mendapat manfaat dari intervensi, semakin mengerti, termotivasi, dan bahagia. Mereka menikmati kesejahteraan fisik, psikis, maupun sosial. Di pihak lain diutarakan bahwa belum sepenuhnya tim medis maupun masyarakat berpartisipasi dalam menggalakkan ASI. Disarankan agar masalah ASI disosialisasikan ke masyarakat luas melalui para motivator yang kompeten, untuk kesejahteraan keluarga dan bangsa.
