Abstract

This study examines the effects of part-time work, self-efficacy, and time management on students’ academic achievement at regional higher education institutions with “Very Good” accreditation in Purwokerto, addressing the limited empirical evidence on non-metropolitan student performance dynamics. Employing a quantitative approach with proportionate stratified random sampling, primary data were collected from 99 active working students across three institutions via Google Forms and analyzed using IBM SPSS version 26. Multiple linear regression revealed that part-time work (, ) and self-efficacy (, ) exert positive and significant partial effects on academic achievement. Conversely, time management showed a positive but non-significant partial effect (, ). Simultaneously, all three variables significantly influenced academic achievement (, ), accounting for 85.4% of the variance (). These findings highlight the crucial roles of work experience and self-efficacy, offering targeted insights for regional higher education policymaking.
