Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of work–life conflict, flexible work arrangements, and job stress on teacher satisfaction in private vocational high schools (SMKs) in Ponorogo, East Java. This research adopts a quantitative approach using a purposive sampling technique. The sample consists of 67 teachers from private vocational high schools in East Java. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS). The findings indicate that flexible work arrangements have a significant positive effect on teacher satisfaction. In contrast, work–life conflict has a significant negative effect on teacher satisfaction, and job stress also has a significant negative effect on teacher satisfaction. Furthermore, flexible work arrangements have a negative effect on both work–life conflict and job stress.
