Abstract

Completing a final project is a crucial stage in a student's academic journey, yet the process often presents various challenges—such as difficulties in finding references, understanding scientific writing techniques, managing citations, and effectively utilizing academic information resources. To address these issues, the Diponegoro University Library and Undip Press have introduced the Final Project Clinic Service as a form of academic support. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Final Project Clinic Service in facilitating the completion of students' final projects. A qualitative, descriptive research approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The study involved five informants: two mentors from the Final Project Clinic Service and three students who had utilized the service on more than two occasions. Service effectiveness was evaluated based on Campbell’s five indicators: program success, target achievement, satisfaction with the program, availability of supporting resources, and overall goal attainment. The findings indicate that the Final Project Clinic Service has operated effectively in supporting students with their final projects. Mentors and students reported that the program was conducted in a structured manner aligned with its objectives, offering guidance that covered literature searches, the use of e-resources, reference management, scientific writing techniques, citation practices, and the use of supporting software such as Mendeley and Zotero. Regarding the target audience, the service successfully met the students' needs.
