<![CDATA[PT SAF Agro Jaya is an agrochemical company in Pandeglang Regency that produces SAF-KNO3, SAF-CALCIUM, and SAF-MKP agricultural fertilizers. The layout of its production warehouse facilities is suboptimal, resulting in a total material handling distance of 52.8 meters and a travel time of 54.5 minutes. This study aims to analyze the relationships between work activities and group production areas to optimize the layout of production warehouse facilities at PT SAF Agro Jaya. The research is based on facility layout design theory, with the study subjects being eight production areas and warehouses at the company. Data were collected through direct observation and interviews, covering area size, distance between areas, and material movement times. The analysis tools used were the Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) and Class-Based methods. The ARC analysis results indicate that nine relationships between areas fall into the Absolutely Necessary (A) and Especially Important (E) categories, but under existing conditions, they are still located far apart. The Class-Based method classified the packaging and weighing area as Class A, five areas as Class B, and two warehouse areas as Class C. The proposed new layout reduced the distance from 52.8 meters to 40.7 meters and the time from 54.5 secon to 46.25 secon, with a distance efficiency of 15,12% and a time efficiency of 15,14%. It was concluded that the combination of the ARC and Class-Based methods was able to optimize the layout of production warehouse facilities at PT SAF Agro Jaya.]]>
