Abstract

Character education plays a vital role in developing the moral foundation., emotional, and social foundations of students in elementary schools . Integrating character education into the curriculum helps foster values such as discipline, honesty, responsibility, empathy, and cooperation. By embedding these values into learning activities, students develop not only academic skills but also the ability to contribute positively to their communities. This paper emphasizes the significance of character education in elementary education, highlighting its role in building a generation with strong ethical principles, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills, which are essential for facing future challenges in a dynamic and diverse society.
