Employee performance is a crucial indicator of organizational goal achievement, as it reflects an employee's ability to execute tasks and responsibilities effectively and optimally. In an industrial setting, performance outcomes are inextricably linked to the implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) measures and the psychological state of employees, as manifested through work motivation. This study aims to analyze the impact of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and work motivation on employee performance at PT Petrokimia Gresik. A quantitative approach utilizing a survey method was employed. The study population consisted of PT Petrokimia Gresik employees, with a sample of 113 respondents selected to provide data via questionnaires. The data collected were analyzed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS software (version 4.1). The results indicate that Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This demonstrates that the implementation of a robust OHS system fosters a sense of security and enables employees to perform their duties optimally. Work motivation was also found to have a positive and significant impact on employee performance, emerging as the more dominant factor in performance enhancement. These findings suggest that highly motivated employees possess a stronger drive to meet targets and complete tasks optimally. Consequently, improving employee performance at PT Petrokimia Gresik requires strengthening work motivation alongside the consistent implementation of OHS measures, thereby creating a safe and productive work environment that supports the achievement of organizational goals.
