The selection process for recipients of poverty assistance funds at the Social Service Office of Ende Regency is still carried out manually without a standardized calculation method, resulting in a slow and inefficient process, as well as a high potential for errors and subjectivity in decision-making. The large number of candidates and the diversity of assessment criteria make the selection process more complex and difficult to perform accurately. This study aims to design and develop a Decision Support System (DSS) for determining recipients of poverty assistance funds at the Social Service Office of Ende Regency. The method used is Simple Additive Weighting (SAW), a multi-criteria decision-making method based on the concept of weighted summation. The criteria used include income level, number of dependents, housing conditions, and employment status. The SAW stages involve determining criteria, assigning weights, constructing the decision matrix, normalizing values based on benefit attributes, and calculating preference values to produce a ranking of alternatives. The system development uses the Waterfall method, consisting of requirements analysis, system design using UML, implementation with PHP and MySQL, and system testing. The result of this study is a web-based DSS application capable of managing candidate data, performing automatic calculations using the SAW method, and generating output in the form of preference values and rankings of assistance recipients. The developed system is able to improve the speed of the selection process, reduce calculation errors, and provide more objective and transparent recommendations. Therefore, this system can assist the Social Service Office of Ende Regency in determining recipients of poverty assistance funds more accurately and accountably.
