Abstract

The sales process of Bajawa traditional woven fabrics in kampung Langa is still carried out conventionally, making product information such as name, type, motif, price, and stock not easily accessible to potential buyers. This condition causes limited marketing reach, difficulties in obtaining product information, and inefficient sales data management. This study aims to design and develop a Sales Information System for Bajawa traditional woven fabrics in Kampung Langa using the Sequential Search algorithm. The system is designed to facilitate data management, accelerate product searches based on specific criteria, and support the sales and marketing of Bajawa traditional woven fabrics more effectively. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The system was developed using the Waterfall method, which consists of requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The Sequential Search algorithm is applied to search product data based on name, type, motif, price, and stock. The analysis technique was conducted descriptively by analyzing user requirements and the results of system testing. The results show that the developed system can assist managers in managing product, stock, customer, and order data and facilitate potential buyers in obtaining information about Bajawa traditional woven fabrics. The implementation of the Sequential Search algorithm supports product searches based on the available criteria. The system also supports broader promotion and sales activities, helping to improve the marketing of Bajawa traditional woven fabrics while supporting the preservation of local culture through the use of information technology.
