Abstract

This study aims to develop a web-based information system that can assist BUMDes Mitra Bersama in managing product and sales data more easily, systematically, and structurally. The problem identified is that the sales data processing is still carried out conventionally and partially using Microsoft Excel. Product data, transactions, and reports are not yet integrated, resulting in the recording, searching, and preparation of reports requiring considerable time and being less effective. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The system was developed using the Waterfall method, which consists of the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The developed system includes the management of product, customer, order, payment, and sales report data. System testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing method to ensure that each system function operates according to user requirements. The results show that the web-based information system can support more structured sales data management, facilitate transaction recording and data management, and simplify the preparation of sales reports. Therefore, the developed system can support the sales data processing activities of BUMDes Mitra Bersama to become more effective and efficient.
