<![CDATA[PT Alam Daya Sakti merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang manufaktur bahan bangunan dengan Paving Block Holland sebagai produk utamanya. Terdapat beberapa permasalahan waste pada proses produksi Paving Block pada PT Alam Daya Sakti, yang menyebabkan pemborosan sumber daya yang digunakan dalam proses produksi Paving Block Holland sehingga menyebabkan tingginya biaya produksi. Untuk meringkas biaya produksi dan meningkatkan efisiensi produksi, perusahaan harus mengeliminasi pemborosan (waste) dengan menerapkan pendekatan Lean Manufacturing. Pendekatan ini diawali dengan memahami gambaran umum perusahaan, khususnya alur proses produksi Paving Block Holland dengan Value Stream Mapping (VSM) untuk memetakan titik pemborosan pada proses produksi secara umum. Langkah selanjutnya yaitu mengidentifikasi aktivitas – aktivitas produksi kedalam Value Added Activity, Non Value Added Activity, dan Necessary but Non Value Added Activity dengan hasil perbandingan VA 89,54%; NVA 8,24%; dan NNVA 2,22%. Aktivitas yang termasuk kedalam NVA dan NNVA tersebut selanjutnya diidentifikasi kedalam Seven Waste dengan hasil waste terbesar adalah jenis Waiting (42%). Selanjutnya waste jenis Waiting dicari akar penyebab timbulnya dengan menggunakan Fishbone Diagram dan 5 Whys, dimana ditemukan akar penyebab berupa “Kebijakan perusahaan dalam menentukan jumlah produksi kurang tepat”. Terakhir, dilakukan upaya eliminasi akar penyebab waste tersebut dengan rekomendasi perbaikan berupa “Perancangan Kebijakan Usulan Jumlah Target Produksi Paving Block Holland”.AbstractWaste Elimination Effort On Paving Block Production Process with Lean Manufacturing Approach (Case Study PT Alam Daya Sakti.
