Abstract

For 10 years Jambi human development index increased , the growth rate above hdi 0,5 percent every year, whether it be the Jambi economic progress indicator or just a figure without meaning. This research is trying to persuade the links between some macro indicators with the human development index in Jambi achievement. Human development index in Jambi Province increase is influenced by other variables such as the economy growth, gini ratio and labor force participation rate or just an additional number that is not affected other social and economic factors. The research uses quantitative analysis method of multiple linear regression. The data collected represents data economic growth , human development index , gini ratio and labor force participation rate belonging to the central bureau of statistics Jambi Province. The results of multiple linear regression indicate that economic growth, gini ratio and labour force participation rate have an influence on the human development index value in Jambi Province. While partially, only significant economic growth.
