Abstract

Humans are social creatures who will always interact with other people. In the early adulthood stage, a person will experience more conflicts. Family is a factor in a person's success in resolving conflicts. The father who is part of the family plays a very important role. If fathers carry out their roles, children will reach their maximum potential, including in terms of leadership. This article uses the literature method as a reference for information. The literature method makes it easier for the author to find answers to the impact of father figures on the development of Christian leadership potential in early adulthood. The result of searching for this information is that fathers play an important role in the development of children's potential. A father who does not carry out his role as a father will cause the family, especially the children, to experience many problems. In an effort to minimize the impact of dysfunctional fathers, the church is here as a solution and provides prevention.
