Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate a printed learning module integrated with Augmented Reality (AR) markers using the Assemblr Edu application for learning the circulatory system in eighth-grade junior high school students. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The needs analysis revealed that students experienced difficulties in understanding the blood circulation process and heart structure, indicating the necessity for interactive and visual learning media. Validation by content, media, and language experts yielded an average score of 94%, categorized as very valid. Practicality testing showed positive responses, with teachers scoring 100% and student 82,97%, classified as very practical. Effectiveness testing indicated an increase in students’ average scores from 59,56 (pre-test) to 77,81 (post-test), with an N-Gain value of 0,431, categorized as moderate. These findings suggest that the AR-based printed module is valid, practical, and moderately affective as an alternative learning medium to enhance students’ conceptual understanding of the circulatory system
