Wien Collection is a Small and Medium Industry (SMI) producing synthetic rattan handicrafts from Malang Regency. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach, using data collection techniques such as interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The results show that Wien Collection utilizes the Indonesian diaspora network in Saudi Arabia as a social-based international marketing strategy without relying on global marketplaces or formal export systems. In this context, the diaspora acts as a non-state actor functioning as a distribution intermediary, product promoter, and market information provider. Supporting factors include trust within the diaspora community, the uniqueness of handmade products, and the involvement of local labor. However, challenges remain, such as limited access to global markets, production capacity constraints, and the absence of formal distribution systems. This study highlights that non-state actors, particularly diaspora communities, play a strategic role in supporting the internationalization of small industries into the global market.
