Abstract

Oxygen saturation affects the cerebral blood flow (ADO) and intrakranial pressure. The background of this study is that in theory the organs in the body requires oxygen supply is sufficient in order to function optimally and effectively. If low oxygen saturation, many health problems can occur which occurred hypoxemia. Symptoms may include fatigue, confusion, headache, and shortness of breath that. Because oxygen is needed in the brain and heart constantly, brain damage or death can occur if the blood oxygen level is too low (Musliha, 2010). This research is descriptive. The study was conducted at Hospital Prof. Dr. Soekandar Mojosari Mojokerto, in May 2015 the number of respondents were 46 patients who met the inclusion criteria. Instrument data collection using observation sheets oxygen saturation. From the results, the oxygen saturation in patients with asthma as many as 28 people (59.6%) with abnormal oxygen saturation, as many as 19 people (40.4%) with normal oxygen saturation. Measurement of oxygen saturation is indicated when a patient falls into the possibility of respiratory failure and then requires more intensive management. The value of oxygen saturation through pulse oximetry obtained unreliable in a state of cardiac arrest, shock, use of medication vasokontriktor, administration by intravenous dye that colors the blood, severe anemia, and high carbon dioxide levels (Smeltzer and Bare, 2002). Picture oxygen saturation in patients wit asthma are mostly normal. Keywords: Oxygen Saturation

Children with mentally disability learn more slowly than a typical child. This can influence the fine motor skill because their IQ and their hand and eyes movement are below the average which therefore they have lower ability to do small movements. This case can influence their activities such writing, crumpling, holding, drawing, and other daily activities. This study is aimed to describe the fine motor skill of mentally disabled children in SDN Purworejo II (SDLB) Kota Pasuruan. This study uses descriptive design. The population is all 60 children with mentally disabled in the Total sampling. The instrument used is observation. The finding of the study showed that there were 53.3% of the respondents or equal to 32 children had fine motor skill with minimum help. It could be influenced by two factors those were age and sex. Parents have to aware the importance of helping their children practice the fine motor skill by joining socialization and reading related books. Keywords: Fine motor skills, Mentally Disabled

Abstract

Dementia is a syndrome-syndrome what it is chronic or progressive decline in cognitive function where there is (i.e. the ability to process thoughts) beyond what can be expected from normal aging. This affects memory, thinking, orientation, comprehension, calculation, capacity for learning, language assessment, and consciousness are not affected. The purpose of this research was the relation of age to incidence of dementia based on PPSME on the elderly. The design study was analytic with cross sectional approach korelasional. Samples were taken with the cluster random sampling technique as much as 56 respondents. Data was collected by questionnaire PPSME instrument, and then processed in coding, editing, scoring, and tabulating and then tested with test spearman rho. of the 26 respondents were classified as mild dementia contained 15 respondents aged 55-62 years old and 11 year-old 63,75 respondents, while 10 of the respondents who were currently. There were 7 respondents aged 55 to 62 years of age and 3 respondents aged 63 – 75 years. Spearman rho was obtained test results data of α = 0.05 ρ = 0,017 then ρ < α so H0 was rejected then and H1 was accepted so that there was a relationship of age with incidence of dementia. This shows that the older the age someone thus respondents will do experience dementia in heavy categories. So expect for health care personnel to better enable health cadres to participate in the activities of posyandu elderly, so as to provide good service on the elderly.Key Words : Demensia, Elderly, PPSME, Age

Abstract

The first problem of dental and oral disase in Indonesia is carier which its increase in each decade. Caries prevention is done by brushing. For technique of WHO health status, determining dental gives a score or value to affect dental caries what dental is repaired (D=Decay), teeth are taken due to caries (M=Missing) and teeth are repaired (F=Filled), and T (Teeth/Total). The purpose of this research investigated the relationship between frequency of tooth brushing with DMF-T to children who were aged 10-12 years old in SDN Kedung Maling Sooko Mojokerto. The research’s method was analytical observational cross-sectional approach and the population was 145 children. The reseach’s sampling used stratified propotional random sampling. Independent variable was frequenty of tooth brushing and dependent variable was status DMF-T. Data was collected by means of interviewing and it was done by observation to 145 children. Data was processed by spearman rho test whit SPSS 16.0. The result showed r value (0.667) >a (0.05), so that Howas accepted, the meaning was no correlation between frequency of thoot brushing with DMF-T status. Many factors what causdental caries, one of them is not exactly when the children brush their teeth such as the method, duration, thoot paste, and great time as well containing diet is carbohydrate and glucose. The children who consum food more that it is contain carbohydrate and glucose, rarely they clean their teeth after eating, they will get dental caries problem. So incidence of dental caries is increase. Keywords: Thoot brushing, DMF-T status, Caries

Abstract

Maternal Mortality and The Infant Mortality Rate is an indicator of the success of development in the field of health. Preeclampsia is a major causeof mortality and morbidity in the mother and baby with a high number of cases of small infants (low birth weight) for pregnancy and is responsible for 30-50% of perinatal deaths Indonesia. The research objective was to determine the relationship of preeclampsia with birth weight in RSUDDr.Wahidin Sudiro Husodo Mojokerto. The study design using analytic correlation with retrospective approach. The Population of all patients with preeclampsia in RSUD Dr.Wahidin Sudiro Husodo Mojokerto in 1stDecember 2014 until 18stMay 2015 by43 mothers so the researchers decided took this all members of the population being sampled is sampling jenuh.Data taken with the observation data recore on the checklist sheet restrospektive patient medical records. After the data collected do data processing editing, coding, scoring and tabulating continued presentation of data Cross Tabulating Tabel with distribusi frekuension the program SPSS 20 for Windows. The results showed that patients with the greatest risk of preeclampsia/eclampsia give birth to low birth weight (46,5%) a total of 20 respondents from 43 respondents so the meaning that there is a relationship preeclampsia with birth weight in RSUD Dr.Wahidin Sudiro Husodo Mojokerto which shows significant relationship. Mothers who experienced preeclampsia during pregnancy have a greater risk of 4,164 to give birth to babies with low birth weight because the mother preeclampsia decreased utero placental perfusion, hipovolemia, vasospasme and damage to the endothelial cells of blood vessels of the placenta that can cause chronic hypoxia in the fetus and fetal growth retardation so as to expire on babies born with severe disorder greatest risk of low birth weight. Keywords : Preeclampsia, Birth Weight
