This study aims to comprehensively analyze the influence of human resource (HR) development, training, HR management strategies, recruitment, competency, professionalism, organizational culture, work engagement, organizational commitment, and the implementation of HR information systems (HRIS) on improving employee performance in various industrial sectors. This study is based on a synthesis of various empirical studies conducted in Islamic financial institutions, creative industries, digital companies, media, hospitality, manufacturing, and plantations. The methods used in these studies generally employ a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through questionnaires and statistical analysis such as linear regression, t-test, F-test, path analysis, and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM/PLS). Several studies also use intervening variables such as work motivation and work engagement to explain the indirect relationship between variables. The results of the study indicate that HR development, training, and HR management strategies have a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Competence, communication skills, work professionalism, and organizational culture also strengthen the improvement in work performance. In addition, work engagement and organizational commitment have been shown to act as mediating variables that increase the effectiveness of HR practices on performance, especially among the millennial generation. HRIS implementation and digital competency enhancement also contribute to improving work efficiency and productivity in the digital era.
