Abstract

The SIREKAP application was introduced by the General Elections Commission of Indonesia to support the publication and recapitulation of election results. However, issues reported during the 2024 General Election raised public concerns regarding the application's usability. This study aims to evaluate the perceived usability of SIREKAP based on the experiences of polling station committee members (KPPS) in Grogol using the System Usability Scale (SUS). Data were collected through a questionnaire consisting of ten SUS items. The study reports an average SUS score of 58.80 from 81 respondents. This score indicates that the application's usability requires further evaluation and improvement. The interpretation of the score in terms of acceptability, grade scale, and adjective rating should be based on an explicitly stated and consistently applied SUS interpretation framework. Based on the evaluation, recommendations are proposed to guide future improvements to the application's usability. This study focuses on users' perceived usability and does not directly evaluate the technical accuracy of vote counting or the integrity of the electoral process.
