Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of work motivation and self-efficacy on the performance of nurses at the Polyclinic of Haji General Hospital Medan. The study used an associative quantitative approach. The population consisted of 42 nurses, all of whom were included as the sample using total sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS. The results show that work motivation partially has no significant effect on nurse performance, with t = -0.486 and significance of 0.630. In contrast, self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on nurse performance, with t = 8.225 and significance of 0.000. Simultaneously, work motivation and self-efficacy significantly affect nurse performance, with F = 288.150 and significance of 0.000. The Adjusted R Square of 0.933 indicates that 93.3% of the variation in nurse performance can be explained by work motivation and self-efficacy, while 6.7% is explained by other factors outside the model
