Abstract

This research discusses the optimization of a web-based audit system at PT Aneka Coffee Industry, with the main focus on the implementation of a new backend system. The main objective of this system development is to increase operational efficiency and improve audit management through more effective automation and data integration. In the growing digital era, the integration of technology in the audit system is crucial to improve transparency, accountability, and overall efficiency of the company. The methodology used in this research adopts a modified waterfall approach, which is intended for flexibility and iteration in the development process. The research stages included in-depth requirements analysis, comprehensive system design, phased implementation, and thorough testing. The new system was designed using modern technologies such as MySQL for database management and jQuery for responsive user interface development. The results showed that the new web-based audit system was able to optimize various aspects of PT Aneka Coffee Industry's operations, including award management, certification, visual documentation, safety information, reporting, and communication with customers. The implementation of this system had a significant impact in improving the company's productivity, efficiency, and competitiveness in the highly competitive coffee industry. This research also highlights the importance of a structured yet flexible approach to information system development to ensure results that match the dynamic needs of the company.
