Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of environmental factors on oil palm productivity in Afdeling III of PTPN IV Regional II Adolina Plantation and its relationship with the agribusiness aspect of oil palm plantations. The observed environmental factors include rainfall, air temperature, relative humidity, and sunlight intensity. The research was carried out from February to March 2025 using a descriptive analysis method based on field observation data and secondary plantation data. From an agribusiness perspective, oil palm productivity is influenced by environmental conditions related to production efficiency, crop quality, and plantation business profitability. The results show that the environmental conditions at the research site still support the growth of oil palm plants with an average air temperature of 29.65°C, a relative humidity of 78.2%, and a sunlight intensity of 21,367 Lux. Oil palm productivity in March was higher than in February. The intensity of sunlight has the greatest influence on productivity because it supports the photosynthesis process and the formation of fresh fruit bunches.
