Abstract

ABSTRACT SMS Gateway is a device that offers SMS transit services to transform messages to the cellular network from other media. Wangaya Hospital has implemented an innovation SMS Gateway program that aims to provide an ease in the field of service to the patients, in the process of registration to conduct examination in polyclinic and to know the amount of patient care costs at Wangaya Hospital. This research was conducted by a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques which are observation, interview and documentation. This research measures how the implementation of SMS Gateway program at Wangaya Hospital by using the policy implementation concept by Charles O. Jones that based on indicator of organization, interpretation, and application. The result of this research is the implementation of SMS Gateway program in Wangaya Hospital has been running well but not yet reached the maximum. Based on the three indicators used to see the implementation, all have met these indicators but still encounter various obstacles in each indicator.
