Abstract

This research aims to design and develop a QR code-based attendance system for Internship students, implement Application Programming Interface (API) integration as a one-way integration mechanism with the SIMLAB JTIK system, and determine the results of system testing based on ISO25010 quality standards. This study used the waterfall development method. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D). The functional suitability test results were categorized as "feasible." The usability aspect scored 81%, categorizing the system as "very feasible." The performance efficiency test showed a system performance score of A. Reliability testing through click test, time test, and ramp test scenarios demonstrated the system's stable operation with a high success rate. Security testing also assessed the system as sufficiently secure with no high-risk threats. Furthermore, maintainability testing results indicated that the system provides warnings for input errors. Portability testing demonstrated that the system can run smoothly across various browsers and devices. API testing demonstrated that all endpoints successfully managed and provided attendance data according to integration requirements. Implementation results also demonstrated that the system is capable of one-way attendance data exchange with SIMLAB JTIK through the API mechanism. Therefore, the developed system is capable of automating the student internship attendance process and supporting data integration with SIMLAB JTIK through the API. Based on testing results, the system meets ISO 25010 quality standards and is deemed suitable for use as an integrated attendance management tool for student internships.
