Abstract

The objective of this study was to determine the influence of learning readiness on the learning outcomes of Grade XI OTKP students in the entrepreneurship subject. A survey method with a correlational approach was employed—specifically, research designed to examine the influence of the independent variable (learning readiness) on the dependent variable (student learning outcomes). The study population consisted of 181 Grade XI OTKP students at SMK Yaperjasa. A sample of 65 students was selected using the simple random sampling technique. Calculations yielded an rxy value of 0.220, indicating a low level of influence of learning readiness on the learning outcomes of Grade XI OTKP students at SMK Yaperjasa, South Jakarta. Analysis of the coefficient of determination resulted in a figure of 4.84%, showing that the contribution of Variable X (learning readiness) to Variable Y (student learning outcomes) was 4.84%, while the remaining 95.16% was determined by factors not examined in this study. This influence was tested using statistical hypothesis testing (t-test), which yielded a t-calculated value lower than the t-table value (1.834 < 1.998); this indicates that there is no significant influence of Variable X (learning readiness) on Variable Y (student learning outcomes) among Grade XI OTKP students at SMK Yaperjasa, South Jakarta.
