Abstract

This community service program developed a village information portal integrated with a physical map and quick response (QR) code to support access to public information in Pasi Village, Dairi, Indonesia. The portal was developed using a Waterfall-based research and development approach. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and structured interviews with three village officials and 15 community representatives. User acceptance testing (UAT) involved the same 18 participants and assessed QR-code scanning, website access, information clarity, and interface usability. The completed portal presents village profiles, government structures, public facilities, maps linked to Google Maps, and activity documentation. The four UAT indicators yielded 93.3%, 84.4%, 86.7%, and 83.3%, respectively, with an overall feasibility score of 86.9%. These findings support the portal’s initial usability, but broader impacts on service quality and information transparency require longer-term evaluation.
