Abstract

Tulisan ini mencoba melacak kembali dugaan orang bahwa teks-teks suci Al-Qur’an dan Alkitab telah menciptakan budaya patriarki di masyarakat. teks-teks suci tidak lebih dari pernyataan tentang wanita. Pernyataan-pernyataan ini membangkitkan keberadaan feminisme sebagai perspektif dan aktivisme, baik ideologi dan metodologi. Tujuan dari artikel ini adalah untuk membaca dan mempertimbangkan kembali penggunaan ayat-ayat tersebut yang didasarkan pada tradisi atau budaya yang telah menciptakan gambar perempuan yang tergantung pada laki-laki, yang kemudian memberikan perbandingan antara dua sumber teologi.Berdasarkan beberapa ayat tentang penciptaan perempuan,peran perempuan dan warisannya, temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada dasarnya dua kitab suci yang berbeda, Alkitab dan Al-Qur’an membawa semangat yang sama dalam berbicara tentang perempuan sebagai individu yang memiliki hidup otonom sendiriKata Kunci: Otonomi, Wanita, Kekuasaan, Al-Qur’an,Al-kitab. This paper attempts to trace back allegedly that thesacred texts of the Qur’an and Bible have been creatinga culture of patriarchy in the society. Sacred texts are not more than/nothing but a statement about women.These statements awaken the existence of  feminism asperspective and activism, both ideology and methodology. The purposes of this article are to read and to reconsider the use of such verses that are based on a tradition or culture that has created images of women who dependon men, which then owes a comparation between  two sources of theology. Based on some verses about womencreation, role of women and her inheritance, this paper’s findings indicate that essentially two different scriptures,Bible and Al-Qur’an carry an identical spirit in talking about women as individuals who have their own autonomous life.Keywords: Autonomy, Women, Power, Al-Qur’an, Bible

Abstract

This paper attempts to offer a different understanding of the hadith misogynic. Some hadiths are commonly used as the theology reason by the elite of men to smooth out their importance will be examined again, at this time it uses the reading of Fatima Mernissi. Fatima Mernissi is a feminist and a sociologist at the same time. Her background will give a deep impact in her interpretation. She reads it by using a historical and methodological approach. Both of it also become a Mernissi?s hermeneutic. For methodological approach, Mernissi based on ?Ulûm al-Hadîth that are reliable according to her, this is done when deciding on acceptance or rejection an hadith. For the understanding of hadith, Mernissi applies the historical and sosilogical approach. The purposes of this article are to know and also understand Mernissi?s hermeneutic hadith by reread some hadiths misogynic. Based on her interpretation in hadith misogynic, thispaper?s findingsindicate that hadith misogynic is not really hate women.
