Abstract

Miskonsepsi siswa pada materi Alat Optik telah diidentifikasi dengan menggunakan instrumen three-tier multiple choice diagnostic test. Hasil identifikasi miskonsepsi siswa kelas XI dari sampel penelitian menunjukkan bahwa miskonsepsi tertinggi terjadi pada sub materi lup dengan persentase rata-rata 35,26% yang disebabkan oleh prakonsepsi sebesar 38,15%, sedangkan miskonsepsi terendah dialami siswa pada sub materi mikroskop dan teleskop dengan persentase rata-rata 17,95%  yang masing-masing disebabkan oleh prakonsepsi sebesar 32,41% dan pemikiran humanistik sebesar 30,36%.   Kata Kunci: Miskonsepsi, three-tier diagnostic test, prakonsepsi, pemikiran humanistik dan Alat Optik        Abstract Students’ misconceptions on the chapter Optical Instruments have been identified using a three-tier multiple choice diagnostic test. The result of the identification of misconceptions to class 11th showed that the misconception is highest in sub chapter magnifying glass with an average percentage of 35.26% due to preconception of 38.15%, while the lowest misconceptions experienced by students in sub chapter microscope and telescope with an average percentage of 17.95% respectively due to preconceptions of 32.41% and 30.36% of humanistic thought.   Keywords: Misconceptions, three-tier diagnostic test, preconceptions, humanistic thought and Optical Instruments
