Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran, hasil belajar siswa serta respons siswa setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran guided discovery melalui kegiatan laboratorium. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan eksperimen sederhana. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MIA di SMA Negeri 2 Lamongan yang berjumlah enam kelas. Sampel penelitian diambil atas pertimbangan dari guru dan didapatkan kelas XI MIA 4 dan XI MIA 5 yang terdistribusi normal dan homogen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi model pembelajaran guided discovery melalui kegiatan laboratorium terlaksana dengan baik. Hasil belajar siswa kompetensi pengetahuan di kelas XI MIA 4 dan XI MIA 5 meningkat dengan kategori tinggi, pada kompetensi keterampilan dan sikap semua siswa tuntas. Kegiatan pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran guided discovery melalui kegiatan laboratorium mendapat respons baik dari siswa. Kata Kunci: guided discovery, kegiatan laboratorium, hasil belajar.   Abstract This research aims to described accomplishment learning activities, student learning outcomes and response of the students following guided discovery learning model through the activities of laboratory. Type of research is descriptive quantitative with simple experiment. Research is a whole population graders XI MIA in Senior High School 2 Lamongan which consisted of six classes. The sample taken on consideration of teacher and obtained class XI MIA 4 and XI MIA 5 normally distributed and homogeneous. The research result show that the implementation guided discovery learning model through the activities of laboratory carried out well. The result study students of knowledge competence in the class XI MIA 4 and XI MIA 5 increased to a high  category, in skill and attitude competence all students had been completed. Learning activity that uses guided discovery through the activities of laboratory obtains good response from the students. Keywords: guided discovery, the activities of laboratory, learning outcomes.
