Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar ketersediaan air bersih untuk setiap pemakai pada gedung Kearsipan dan gedung Perpustakaan kota Kupang, untuk mengetahui rancangan dan instalasi yang tepat pada gedung tersebut, serta untuk mengetahui berapa jumlah anggaran biaya yang dikeluarkan untuk melakukan perencanaan instalasi air bersih pada gedung tersebut. Setelah dilakukan analisis perhitungan, maka total penggunaan air bersih pada Gedung Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Kota Kupang yaitu ; 1,68 m3/hari. Dengan kebutuhan pengisian mobil tangki air, dapat diisi 1 minggu sekali, dengan jumlah 2 mobil tangki air sekali isi. Dengan waktu pompa untuk memenuhi kapasitas tandon berkapasitas 1100 liter sebanyak 3 buah yaitu 7 jam. Total biaya yang diperlukan dalan perencanaan instalasi penyedian air bersih pada Gedung Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Kota Kupang yaitu Rp 113,360,000.00 ( Seratus Tiga Belas Juta Tiga Ratus Enam Puluh Ribu Rupiah).This research aimed at assessing the level of water availability for the demand of potable water in the building of Archive Office and of the City Library of Kupang, and heretofore, seek to offer the design of water supply installation for the respective buildings, with its resulting cost estimates. Results of the analysis showed that total water demand for both the Archive Office and the City Library is 1.68 m3/day. It also showed that the demand can be served by way of operating 2 water tanker trucks to convey water to both of the buildings once per week. Three water reservoir, each in the capacity of 1100 litre should be put into operation, the infilling of which is done by operating three units of pump that operate for 7 hours. Total cost for the resulting designed water supply installation system for both of the buildings, the Archive Office and the City Library, is in the value of Rp. 113,360,000.00 (One Hundredths Millions Three Hundredths and Sixty Thousands Rupiahs).

Abstract

Kebutuhan air masyarakat di Desa Napan terbilang tinggi, tidak hanya digunakan untuk kebutuhan sehari-hari, tetapi juga untuk ternak peliharaan. Hal ini menyebabkan semakin meningkatnya biaya pembelian air. Salah satu alternative untuk mengurangi biaya pembelian air yaitu sistem pemanenan air hujan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis potensi pemanenan air hujan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan air masyarakat dan ternak, serta mengkaji kapasitas bak penampung yang ada di desa Napan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa potensi air hujan yang dapat dipanen memenuhi 47,1% dari total kebutuhan air di Desa Napan. Akan tetapi, bak penampung yang ada saat ini hanya mampu menampung 6,4% dari total potensi pemanenan air hujan, sehingga hanya mampu memenuhi 3,0% dari kebutuhan air di desa Napan. Dengan demikian, solusi yang dapat dilakukan adalah menambah 15 unit reservoir dengan ukuran 3000 liter, sehingga air hujan yang dipanen sepenuhnya dapat ditampung dan digunakan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air total masyarakat di desa Napan.

Abstract

The branch of natural sciences called river morphology focuses on the study of the characteristics and dynamics of rivers, including their structure, classification, and changes on spatial and temporal scales. Two main factors influence river configurations. The first is natural factors, such as floods and landslides, and the second is human factors, such as human activities that alter river morphology. Cyclone Seroja caused landslides on the banks of the Liliba River in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara in April 2022. This mainly occurred at Naimata Bridge in Liliba Village, Oebobo District. River geometry, especially the channel and bed elevation, can be significantly influenced by landslides occurring on the riverbanks. Therefore, a study of the morphology of the Liliba River was conducted using remote sensing systems. To conduct a detailed analysis, this study incorporated these photos. In this review, changes in the river channel were examined by extracting the river's course from Landsat image data. From 2009 to 2022, the Liliba River experienced an average shift of 1.60 meters westward and eastward. The research results indicate the need for reforestation along the riverbanks, and residents should be encouraged to reduce the disposal of plastic waste into the river. Future research should also further investigate the geological characteristics of the Liliba River, such as rock types, and conduct hydrological analyses to comprehensively understand the factors influencing changes in the riverbed.

Abstract

The Rotiklot Dam Catchment Area is located in Belu Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. This research aims to forecast the rates of erosion and sedimentation utilizing the Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) method, as well as to assess the levels of erosion hazard present. According to the modeling outcomes, the average annual erosion rate within the Rotiklot Dam Catchment Area is calculated to be 18.5 tons/ha/year. The erosion hazard assessment indicates that the land within the Rotiklot Catchment Area is classified into two categories of erosion hazard levels: moderate and severe. Specifically, the area classified as having a moderate erosion hazard level encompasses 549.55 hectares, while the area categorized as having a severe erosion hazard level covers 587.55 hectares. The modeling results indicate that the average annual sediment discharge at the outlet of the catchment area leading to the dam is 1,865.75 tons per year. Over the course of the 28-year simulation period, the cumulative sediment total amounts to 106,317.1 tons.
