Abstract

Synthesis of magnetic clay (Mg / Al-Fe Hydrotalcite) and its application as fulvic acidadsorbent has been carried out. Mg / Al-Fe Hydrotalcite was synthesized by reactingFeCl2.6H2O and FeSO4.7H2O (1: 1) solutions with Mg (NO3)2.6H2O and Al (NO3)3.9H2O (2:1) using the coprecipitation method simultaneously at pH intervals 10-13. Synthesis studiesinclude the study of the characteristics of solids synthesized using X-ray diffractometer andFTIR spectrometers, Mg / Al-Fe Hydrotalcite magnetism test using an external magnetic fieldand Mg / Al-Fe Hydrotalcite stability test in various medium pH. Fulvic acid was isolatedusing methanol solution and characterized using FTIR spectroscopy. The study of fulvic acidadsorption and desortion was studied by studying the fulvic acid adsorption kinetics by Mg /Al-Fe Hydrotalcite and the effect of time on the concentrated fulvic acid concentration of Mg/ Al-Fe Hydrotalcite. The characterization results showed the characteristics of the peak and the functionalgroup Mg / Al-Fe Hydrotalcite in X-ray diffractogram and FTIR spectra. The stability of Mg /Al-Fe Hydrotalcite tends to be stable at pH above 3. Based on FTIR spectra data, Telukpanjifulvic acid has the main functional groups namely -COOH (aliphatic and aromatic) andphenoh-OH groups. The results of the adsorption pattern of fuvic acid by Mg / Al-FeHydrotalcite are first order reaction kinetics that reach equilibrium with a reaction rateconstant (k1) of 24 x 10-4 minutes-1. The results of post-adsorption characterization showedthat fulvic acid entered into the inter-layer of Mg / Al-Fe Hydrotalcite as evidenced by theincrease in basal spacing prices in d003 which is a characteristic of hydrotalcite. Theinfluence of time on the concentrated fulvic acid concentration showed that the fulvic acidcould be desorbed from Mg / Al-Fe Hydrotalcite by 82.83% or 18.52 mg / L from a totalconcentration of 22.3556 mg / L.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of leadership and financial compensation on employee performance. The analysis unit in this study was all employees as many as 54 people. Samples used a saturated sampling technique where members of the population were used as samples. Data analysis was performed using statistics with SPSS tools. F test results F value calculated 47.702 > F table and significance level 0.000 <alpha 0.05 means that simultaneously the variables of leadership and financial compensation have a significant effect on employee performance variables. Results of calculations with regression analysis multiple linear on t-test obtained coefficient value of 0.544 for leadership and 0.467 for financial compensation. The result is that partial leadership and financial compensation have a significant influence on employee performance.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. The existence of albumin in urine indicates kidney impairment, referred to as albuminuria. Early detection of kidney dysfunction can be done through the examination of urine albumin levels. This research aims to develop a microfluidic chip device for quantitative analysis of albumin in urine matrix solution using colorimetry with a smartphone-based device. The microfluidic chip device for albumin is tested and evaluated through functional tests and analysis of the quality of measurement data generated. The functional tests of the colorimetric system include testing the hydrophobic properties of the fluid on the material surface, fluid distribution pattern, color appearance, and leakage. The quality of measurement data is evaluated based on the predictive ability of the partial least squares regression models generated by data measurement for predicting the albumin levels accurately and precisely. A prototype of the microfluidic chip device for albumin was made from transparent acrylic material, with a 3-dimensional vertical fluid flow design consisting of two main parts: the inlet section and the colorimetric system for visual fluid observation. Based on the functional tests, it is found that the acrylic material in the colorimetric system has a hydrophilic surface characteristic with a contact angle of 61.15o. The fluid can flow and distribute well within the colorimetric system without producing bubbles. The color appearance in the colorimetric system is also visualized well without fluid leakage. On the other hand, RGB HSL data, as the digital image identity of the training and test samples, can be used as predictor variables. The method validation demonstrated acceptable sensitivity, with an LOD of 3.368 mg/dL and an LOQ of 11.825 mg/dL. Precision at 16 mg/dL showed good repeatability (RSD 0.561%, recovery 99.26%;) and reproducibility (RSD 2.147%, recovery 101.42%). These results confirm the method's reliability for albumin quantification at the tested concentration level. Keywords: Albumin, albuminuria, colorimetry, microfluidic chip, PLSR, urine analysis
