<![CDATA[Abstrak Penelitian kuantitatif ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media balon terhadap kemampuan sains anak. Sampel Penelitian yaitu kelompok B1 berjumlah 20 anak dan B2 20 anak. Tehnik pengumpulan data pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data Mann Whitney U-Test ( Uji U). berdasaran hasil perhitungan pada penelitian diperoleh harga U1 lebih kecil dari U2. Dengan demikian yang digunakan untuk membandingkan harga Utabel dan harga Uhitung adalah U1 yang nilainya 34. Berdasarkan tabel harga-harga kritis Mann Whitney U Test α=0,05 (pengujian satu pihak) adalah 114 dengan n1=20 dan n2=20 sehingga diperoleh 34<114, maka Uhitung=34 dan Utabel=114. Jika harga Uhitung lebih kecil daripada Utabel, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan media balon berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan sains anak kelompok B di TK Dewi Sartika Surabaya. Kata Kunci : Media Balon, Kemampuan Sains Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine the effect media of balloon toward ability of children science. The Sample of this resear are group B1 which consist of 2 children and B2 20 children. Mechanical testing of the hypothesis in this study using data analysis Mann Whitney U-Test (U Test). Based on the calculation results of research obtained price U1 is smaller tahn U2. Thus were used to compare the price of Utable and price Ucount which U1 the value is 34. Based on the prices of critical Mann Whitney Utest α=0,05 (Testing one party) is 114 with n1=20 and n2=20 thus obtained 34<114, then Ucount=34 an Utable=114. If price U count smaller than Utable, then Ho reected and Ha accepted.
