<![CDATA[Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh sebagian besar siswa sekolah dasar yang menganggap bahwa materi pelajaran Matematika sangat sulit yang tidak mudah diingat serta membosankan. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang melibatkan siswa yang aktif adalah pembelajran yang menggunakan pendekatan konstruktifitas dan pembelajaran kooperatif yaitu Model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing. Tujuan penelitian ini mencari pengaruh model pembelajaran snowball throwing terhadap hasil belajar satuan ukur panjang siswa kelas IV SDN Wiyung I Surabaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen dan menggunakan t-test untuk analisis data. Hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan yang dilihat dari hasil analisis t-test yaitu thitung (3,29) > ttabel (2,00). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran ini memberi pengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar satuan ukur panjang kelas IV SDN Wiyung I Surabaya. Kata Kunci: snowball throwing, hasil belajar. Abstract The researcher decided to conduct this study since almost all elementary students considered mathematics very difficult which cannot be memorized easily and that mathematics is boring. One of those learning models which get the students involved is construction-based learning models and cooperative learning models is Snowball Throwing. This study aims to ascertain the effect of snowball throwing the cooperative model toward the learning results of length measurement unit of the fourth graders in SDN Wiyung I Surabaya. Based on the result of t-test, it can be noticed that tcomputation = 3.29 and ttable = 2,00, so that tcomputation is greater than ttable by 5% of significance rate (tcomputation > ttable), with this 5% of significance rate, Ho­ is rejected, as the consequence Ha (alternative hypothesis) is accepted which means the implementation of snowball throwing has a significant effect toward the learning results of length measurement unit of the fourth graders in SDN Wiyung I Surabaya.
