<![CDATA[Abstrak Penelitian ini berawal dari observasi yang dilakukan oleh peniliti terhadap pembelajaran Matematika di SDN Paringan 2 Mojokerto. Hasil observasi awal menunjukkan bahwa peran guru masih kurang maksimal dalam menciptakan aktivitas siswa yang aktif, guru juga tidak menggunakan mmodel pembelajaran yang sesuai. Ini menyebabkan siswa kurang memahami materi pembelajaran yang diajarkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan aktivitas guru, mendeskripsikan aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar siswa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Jenis penelitian ini PTK dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam 2 siklus. Aktivitas guru mengalami peningkatan sebesar 14,77% yaitu dari 76,13% pada siklus I menjadi 90,9% pada siklus II. Aktifitas siswa mengalami peningkatan sebesar 13, 62% yaitu dari 68,18% pada siklus I menjadi 81,8% pada siklus II.Untuk hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkata sebesar 20% yaitu dari 68% pada siklus I menjadi 88% pada siklus II. Dari data di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika materi nilai tempat pada siswa kelas III SDN Paringan 2 Mojokerto. Researchers found the problem, the role of teachers enough in creating an active student activities, in addition to learning the teacher did not use appropriate learning model, but only lecture course. Resulting in the majority of students are less familiar with the learning materials.The purpose of this study is to describe the activity of the teacher, describing the activities of students and student learning outcomes after following study using STAD cooperative learning model to determine the value of this research tempat.Jenis PTK using quantitative descriptive method. This research was conducted in two cycles. Data were obtained through observation and tests. The results of the study for 2 cycles increased. Teacher activity increased by 14.77% from 76.13% in the first cycle to 90.9% in the second cycle. Student activity increased by 13.62% from 68.18% in the first cycle to 81.8% in the second cycle. For the learning outcomes of students has increased by 20% from 68% in the first cycle to 88% in the second cycle.From the above data it can be concluded that the model of STAD cooperative learning can improve learning outcomes in mathematics material value of a third grade students of SDN Paringan Mojokerto.
