<![CDATA[Abstrak Latar belakang penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS pada kelas V SDN Semambung Sidoarjo. Disebabkan oleh kurangnya pemahaman terhadap materi. Karena guru masih menggunakan metode ceramah dan penugasan. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Make A Match, serta mengetahui bagaimana peningkatan aktivitas guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi dan tes. Hasil dari penelitian dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran make a match menunjukkan kativitas guru mengalami peningkatan selama tiga siklus, pada siklus I yaitu 68,75%, siklus II yaitu 80%, dan siklus III 87,5%. Aktivitas siswa dari siklus I 68,75%, siklus II yaitu 77,08%, dan siklus III 85,41%. Hasil belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan dengan indek ketuntasan belajar dari siklus I 68,18%, siklus II 77,2%, siklus III 86,3%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa Penggunaan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Make A Match dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS Kelas V SDN Semambung Sidoarjo. Abstract The background of the research is the low rank of social studies result of fifth grade students in Semambung Elementary School Sidoarjo. It is caused by the lack of comprehension toward the study material. Teacher still uses the method of speech and assignment. The students only listen to the speech given by teacher and it causes them to be less active. So the students face difficulty to comprehend the material. The lack of comprehension toward the study material causes the decrease of students learning result.These research applying class actions research. Data collection technique using observation method and test. Result of the research using make a match learning model shows that the teacher activity have increased during three cycles, in cycle I 68,75%, cycle II 80%, and cycle III 87,5%. The students activity of cycle I 68,75%, cycle II 77,08%, and cycle III 85,41%. The students’ study result also increase 68,18% in cycle I, 77,2% in cycle II, and 86,3% in cycle III. From the result, it can be concluded that the Application of Cooperative Learning Model of Make a Match is able to increase the Social studies result of fifth grade students of Semambung Elementary School Sidoarjo.
