<![CDATA[Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, hasil belajar dan kendala-kendala dalam penerapan model pembelajaran mind mapping pada mata pelajaran IPS dengan materi pokok "mendeskripsikan perjuangan para tokoh pejuang pada penjajahan Belanda dan Jepang" di kelas Va SDN Sumput Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi dan tes. Aktivitas guru mengalami peningkatan selama tiga siklus, pada siklus I 68,75%, pada siklus II 76,25% dan pada siklus tiga 85%. Peningkatan juga terjadi pada aktivitas siswa dari siklus I sampai siklus III yaitu 68,75%, 77,5%, dan 83,75%. Hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan, pada siklus I 60%, pada siklus II 74%, dan pada siklus tiga 88,5%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran mind mapping dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS di kelas Va SDN Sumput Sidoarjo Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Mind Mapping, Pembelajaran IPS, Hasil Belajar. Abstract The purpose of this research is to describe teacher activities, students activity, study result and constraints in application of cooperative learning mind mapping in social studies with the main chapter “describes the struggle of the hero on the Dutch and Japanese occupation” in class Va SDN Sumput Sidoarjo. This research used Classroom Action Research (CAR) using data collected by observation way and test. The teacher activity increase on the three cycle, the increase in first cycle was 68,75%, in second cycle was 76,25%, and in third cycle was 85%. The increase also occurred on the student activity which was 68,75% on the first cycle, 77,5%, on the second cycle and 83,75% on third cycle. The result of the students studies increase, in the first cycle was 60%, in the second cycle was 74%, and third cycle was 88,5%. It can be conclude that the implementation of cooperative learning model mind mapping can increase the study result of social studies at fifth grade in SDN Sumput Sidoarjo.
