Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini didasarkan pada manfaat  musik dalam pembelajaran khususnya Lagu Model. Peneliti menguji cobakan Lagu Model sebagai media pembelajaran. Tujuannya untuk mengetahui efektifitas  penggunaan Lagu Model terhadap kemampuan menghafal siswa kelas I  pada pembelajaran tematik Tema 5 Subtema 1 Pembelajaran 1 di SDN Wiyung I/453 Surabaya.  Penelitian eksperimen ini menggunakan desain penelitian Pretest-Posttest Control Group Desaign. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan tahap pretest, pemberian perlakukan dan tahap posttest. Hasil pretest kelas kontrol adalah 52.67 dan kelas eksperimen adalah 53.33. Hasil  posttest kelas kontrol adalah 62 dan kelas eksperimen adalah 71.67. Diketahui thitung sebesar 3,81. Ini menunjukkan bahwa thitung lebih besar dari ttabel. Disimpulkan bahwa Lagu Model sangat efektif  terhadap kemampuan menghafal  siswa. Kata Kunci : Lagu Model, Kemampuan Menghafal, Pembelajaran Tematik   Abstract This research was conducted based on the benefits of using song in the classroom learning especially “Song Model”. The researcher wanted to test Song Model as a learning media. The purpose of this research is to know the effectiveness of using Song Model as a learning media of the 1st grade students in thematic learning Theme 5, Subtheme, 1 Course 1 in SDN Wiyung I/452 Surabaya. This research is an experimental research which uses research design Pretest – Posttest Control Group Design. The research was conducted in three stages, those are pretest, treatment, and posttest.  The data obtained from pretest of control group were 52.67 and experiment group were 53.33. Meanwhile, the posttest results of control group were 62 and experiment group were 71.67. From the data gained, it showed that Tcount was 3,81. It shows that tcount is higher than ttable. Based on the results, it can be concluded that song model is effectiveness to the student ability of memorization in the 1st grade students of SDN Wiyung I/453 Surabaya.
