Abstract

Water is a very important need for human survival. In solving the piping problem in a region, a pipe network system model for the distribution of raw water which includes hydraulic equations for closed channels is required. In the study using EPANET program. Projection result from population of 2016-2035, Geometrik method become reference in determining clean water requirement, by using water requirement per person per 100 liter per second. Distribution of clean water needs using HDPE pipes. The pipe used has the smallest diameter of 90 mm and the diameter of 180mm diameter 1 and 200 to 110 mm in diameter 2 has a length of 31,007.64 meters, with junction or pipe connection 234, 1 IPA tank and 1 pump with liters per second.Keywords: EPANET, Water Pipe, Geometric Method.

Abstract

The clean water obtained by the people of Kecamatan Lubuk Dalam is still very minimal. This is because the groundwater source located in Lubuk Dalam does not qualify as clean water. So far, the people of Kecamatan Lubuk Dalam utilize watersource from rain water and drilled well. Rainwater that is accommodated by the community is not able to meet the needs of the community during the dry season, while the groundwater source obtained from the well has a poor quality so it is not good for public health. Due to the growing progress of Kecamatan Lubuk Dalam, the Siak regency government is seeking to build a clean water treatment plant deep in order to meet the water needs of the local community. The new will be built in the area of LubukDalam, a source of water obtained from the Sungai Basas, the Siak River in the Koto Gasip area.Keywords:, clean water, distribution, , PDAM , EPANET

Abstract

Transformation process Rainfall-runoff is a scientific process which very complex. This complexity process cause of two factor, that are Watershed variability sistem  and  input parameter whick has high variability space and time. So for cope with this komplex process used rainfall-runoff modeling. Model that the used expected could approach Watershed  characteristic. A Rainfall-Runoff model is HEC-HMS. HEC-HMS accurate  for modeling the event a moment such as flood. This modeling will be used at the Duri Canal Watershed in this  study divided into 29 cathment area, with total area 448.4624 km2.   The results of the HEC-HMS modeling in 2002 obtained Qp is 1627.3 m3/sec, this output will calibration with HSS Nakayasu method and obtain Qp 1669.32 m3/sec caused by rainfall 150 mm. Whereas for the 2012 HEC-HMS modeling obtained Qp is 1231.7 m3/sec and for calibration HSS Nakayasu method obtained Qp is 1193.55 m3/sec caused by rainfall 107.5 mm. The result showed nearing values. However HEC-HMS and HSS Nakayasu have different peak time (tp). HEC-HMS have tp at the eleventh o’clock whereas HSS Nakayasu method have tp at the fourth o’clock. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to predict the rating curve equation on the site Pantai Cermin Sub-watershed Siak Hulu Siak River in 2009. This is based due to the unavailability of rating curve equation on the site Pantai Cermin Sub-watershed Siak Hulu in 2009 until 2012 so hopefully this research can be used as an alternative method for determining the rating curve equation turns more quickly and accurately. This research was conducted using an artificial neural network approach to the backpropagation algorithm. Configuration of network model used is the single input and single output. This approach uses auxiliary program that is Matlab 7.7.0.471 (R2008b). Results of this research showed that the artificial neural network model results of training, testing and validation have a very good level of correlation with the value of R 0.92996, 0.94469 and 0.97513. The rating curve equation for 2009 is Q = 22.93 x H1.265 with the level of correlation R = 0.9975. Keywords: rating curve, artificial neural network, backpropagation, siak hulu.

Abstract

Tenayan reservoir is a facility that included in the planning of infrastructure development Pekanbaru city government offices were built to meet the needs of the office of the raw water. Tenayan Reservoir drainage system is part of DAS system of Siak where natural systems there is a watershed Tenayan. In a study on the construction of the reservoir, spillway is an important study that is based on considerations of topography, hydrology and hydraulics. In this study the hydrological analysis to get the flood discharge design using Nakayau HSS. Further studies conducted by calculating the width of spillway flood search through the spillway (spillway) for various types of straight spillway with a width of 25 m and type of arch spillway with a variation of the radius of 12,5 m, 15 m, 20 m and 25 m in order to obtain flood level elevation for various the variations in the hydrological analysis result obtained Tenayan flood discharge design period of 20 years of rainfall data (1994-2013) for 100 year return period amounted to 182.063 m3 / second using Nakayasu HSS. By using the design flood discharge of the obtained spillway flood level elevation (crest elevation +20 m) for various types of overflow proportional to the width of 25m is +21.787 m and for overflow arch with a variation of the radius of 12,5m, 15m, 20m and 25 m respectively +21.399 m, +21.650 m, + 21,725m and + 21,750 m.Keyword : Reservoir, flood elevation level, spillway , HSS Nakayasu

Abstract

The length’s advisability of the berth can be seen from the Berth Occupancy Ratio (BOR). The pour liquid berth (Berth B) in Dumai’s harbor is one of the berth which has a higher activity and the ships that come increasing everyday. The increasing ships in Berth B need a project to know the value of visiting ships and the value of BOR in short term, middle term and long term. Project is done in order Berth B can hold the ships that will tether by adding the length of berth.The value of BOR in short time projection until 2019 is 75,86 % and the number of ships are 744. To fulfill The Standard Of Managing Director Of Marine in 2011, the value of BOR was 69% therefore the berth should be lengthened about 70 meters. In 2019 the short time projection the length of Berth B becomes 870 meters.Based on project result the visiting ships are 984, the value of BOR in middle term is 87,94% in 2024. To fulfill the value of BOR which is 69%, the Berth should be lengthnened formerly 870 meters become 1100 meters.The long term projection until 2029 the value of BOR is 83,71% with the number of visiting ships 1224. To fulfill the value of BOR that is 69%, the Berth should be lengthnened around 220 meters.
