Abstract

This study aims to explain the role of spirituality on the communicative level of students in the Islamic Boarding School Jagad ‘Alimussirry Surabaya. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The study was conducted on all students of the Islamic Boarding School Jagad ‘Alimussirry Surabaya and teachers / teachers in a vulnerable period of one semester. Data obtained from questionnaires and observations that have been transcribed, then described in detail according to existing phenomena. The results showed that the role of spirituality on the communicative level of students had a significant influence. Not only for the sake of getting closer to God, but also to improve morals (both to God and His creatures), and to achieve ultimate peace of self and the environment. This is evidenced by the communicative data of students both with fellow students, teachers, and with the natural surroundings.

Abstract

Abstrak Secara etimologis istilah supervisi diambil dari perkataan bahasa Inggris Supervision, artinya pengawasan di bidang pendidikan. Sedangkan motivasi sendiri adalah suatu istilah yang berasal dari kata motif yang dapat diartikan sebagai kekuatan yang terdapat dalam diri individu, yang menyebabkan individu tersebut bertindak atau berbuat. Dalam dunia pendidikan kedua faktor ini akan sangat berpengaruh kepda kinerja, karena ada tiga faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja, yaitu kemampuan, usaha, dan dukungan. Terdapat kasus yang muncul di SMPN Waru Sidoarjo, bahwasannya fakta di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa supervisi akademik kepala sekolah kurang maksimal. Hal ini terbukti dengan rendahnya nilai UKG guru yang menyebabkan Dinas Pendidikan Kota Sidoarjo harus memetakan guru yang perlu mendapat tambahan bimbingan teknik. Penelitia ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah para ibuk bapak guru dari SMPN 1, 3, dan 4 sebanyak 100 orang. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan regresi ganda dan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil analisi data uji t pengaruh secara parsial pada variabel supervisi akademik kepala sekolah memperoleh nilai signifikan 0,073 > 0,05 , maka artinya tidak terdapat pengaruh terhadap kinerja mengaja guru. Sedangkan hasil data untuk variabel motivasi kerja memperoleh nilai signifikan 0,000 < 0,05 maka artinya terdapat pengaruh terhadap kinerja mengajar guru. Hasil analisi dari tabel persamaan regresi ganda, diketahui nilai Fhitung adalah sebesar 13,525 dan nilai signifikan signifikan yang diperoleh adalah sebesar 0,000. Nilai signifikan ini lebih kecil dari pada nilai alpha 0,5 dengan demikian H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Artinya supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap kinerja mengajar guru. Kata Kunci: Supervisi Akademik Kepala Sekolah, Motivasi Kerja Guru, dan Kinerja Mengajar Guru Abstract Etymologically the term of supervision is taken from the words of the British that Supervision , which means that supervision in the field of education . While the motivation itself is a term derived from the word motive which can be interpreted as the power contained within the individual , which causes the individual act or acts . In the world of education both of these factors will influence the performance, because there are three factors that affect performance , the ability , effort , and support . There are cases that arise in the junior high school at Waru Sidoarjo , that facts on the ground show that the academic supervision of the school head less than the maximum . It isevidence with the low value of UKG teachers lead Sidoarjo City Education Department should map out teachers who need to receive additional technical assistance . This empirically using a quantitative approach to research the type of correlation . The sample in this study was the father ibuk teacher of SMPN 1 , 3 , and 4 as many as 100 people . Research data analysis using regression and t test .Based on the results of data analysis t test partial effect on the academic supervision principals variable gain significant value 0.073 > 0.05, meaning that there is no influence on the performance of teachers mengaja . While the resulting data for work motivation variable gain significant value 0.000 < 0.05, it means that there is an influence on the performance of teachers to teach .The results of analysis of multiple regression equation table , note the value of F is equal to 13.525 and significantly significant value obtained was 0,000 . Significant value is smaller than the alpha value of 0.5 and is therefore rejected H0 and H1 accepted. That is the principal academic supervision and motivation of teachers working together on the performance of teachers to teach.Keywords: supervision of academic principan, work motivation, adn teaching performance
