Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat Kejujuran. Dimana terdapat populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP N 8 MUARO JAMBI, yang terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu VIIA dan VIIB. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan angket kepada responden. Angket terdiri dari 25 pertanyaan tentang kejujuran. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Sedangkan jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu jenis penelitian survei dengan instrumen penelitian berupa soal pilihan ganda. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu teknik analisis parametrik, yaitu dengan melakukan uji asumsi atau uji prasyarat berupa uji normalitas dan homogenitas serta melakukan uji hipotesis berupa uji perbandingan. Pengujian hipotesis yang digunakan yaitu uji perbandingan Mann-Whitney U. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbandingan antara tingkat kejujuranr siswa kelas VIIA dan kelas VIIB. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,042., dimana nilai tersebut lebih kecil dari 0,05. Oleh karena kedua variabel memiliki perbandingan, maka Ha diterima. Selain itu, dapat disimpulkan pula bahwa kelas VIIA memiliki hasil belajar yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kelas VII B. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai mean rank kelas VIIA lebih besar dibandingkan dengan nilai mean rank kelas VIIB. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of honesty. Where there is a population in this study are VII grade students of SMP N 8 MUARO JAMBI, which consists of two classes namely VIIA and VIIB. Data retrieval is done by distributing questionnaires to respondents. Questionnaire consists of 25 questions about honesty. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach. While the type of research used is the type of survey research with research instruments in the form of multiple choice questions. Data analysis techniques used are parametric analysis techniques, namely by testing assumptions or prerequisite tests in the form of normality and homogeneity tests and hypothesis testing in the form of a comparison test. Testing the hypothesis used is the Mann-Whitney U comparison test. The results of the study indicate that there is a comparison between the level of honesty of students in class VIIA and class VIIB. This is evidenced by the value of Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.042. Where the value is smaller than 0.05. Because both variables have comparisons, Ha is accepted. In addition, it can also be concluded that the VIIA class has better learning outcomes compared to class VII B. This is evidenced by the mean rank value of the VIIA class greater than the mean rank grade VIIB.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the character of the students, especially the honesty character of the eighth grade students of MTsN 1 Jambi City. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach. While the type of research used is the type of survey research with a questionnaire research instrument. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII E and VIII F MTsN 1 Jambi City, with a total of 25 respondents. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis techniques. While the results of the study show that the questionnaire character of honesty of students is classified in the category of “very good.” In class VIII E, there were 16.7% of statements that were answered well by students, and there were 83.3% of statements that were answered very well by students. Whereas in class VIII E, there were 25.9% of statements that were answered well by students, and there were 74.1% of statements that were answered very well by students. Based on the results of the questionnaire, it can be concluded that the students of MTsN 1 Jambi City, especially class VIII E and VIII F, have had a very good attitude in honesty.
