Abstract

Dropshipping is a modern business method that allows sellers (dropshippers) to sell products without having direct stock of the items. In practice, dropshippers only utilize product images and descriptions from suppliers, then forward customer orders to the suppliers for product delivery. This study aims to analyze the mechanism of dropshipping in the online sale of gamis clothing and its compliance with the akad salam in the perspective of Islam. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method to examine the concepts of dropshipping and akad salam. Based on the study results, dropshipping can be implemented in a Sharia-compliant manner under certain conditions, such as the clarity of contracts between dropshippers, suppliers, and customers; detailed product descriptions; and transparent collaboration. Furthermore, the application of akad salam in e-commerce can provide a solution for SMEs to empower the economy without reliance on interest-based debt, while maintaining honesty in business practices. By meeting Sharia requirements, dropshipping has significant potential to become a modern business alternative that not only fulfills market demands but also adheres to the principles of Islamic economics. A Sharia-compliant dropshipping system can support the development of online businesses with a foundation of integrity and sustainability. Abstract

This research seeks to examine how students' inclination towards investing in the stock market is affected by their perceptions of return, risk, and the minimum capital required. The primary objective is to investigate the factors that shape the investment interest of inexperienced students when it comes to equities in the capital market. The data for this study was gathered from a targeted sample of 100 participants through questionnaires, using purposive sampling techniques. To convert nominal raw data into quantifiable interval data, the interval method was applied. The outcomes of the regression analysis unveiled compelling insights. Specifically, the analysis demonstrated that investment interest is significantly influenced by how students perceive both risk and return. Intriguingly, a noteworthy revelation emerged: the variable of minimum investment capital does not wield a significant impact on investment interest. This revelation contrasts with earlier research that centered on the minimum capital students put into their investments.

Abstract

Purpose - This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) advertisements through Instagram as a promotional medium among Islamic Banking students, Class of 2021, UIN Bukittinggi. The research is motivated by the rapid growth of digital platforms that require companies to be more creative in marketing products. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with students of the Islamic Banking Class of 2021. Result - The findings indicate that the effectiveness of BSI advertisements on Instagram varies across the AIDA stages. At the Attention stage, ads were very effective, with 100% of respondents having seen them. At the Interest stage, ads were considered effective by 70% of respondents. At the Desire stage, only 50% were motivated to seek further information, mainly due to promotional offers. Abstract

This study analyzes the agricultural system in Jorong Koto Tinggi, Baso District, Agam Regency, in relation to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 2 “Zero Hunger” from the perspective of Islamic economics. Despite abundant natural resources, most farmers still rely on traditional methods with low productivity, constrained by limited capital, low adoption of technology, limited understanding of sustainable agriculture, as well as the impacts of climate change and commodity price fluctuations. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, with data analyzed inductively using reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that agricultural transformation is occurring gradually; some farmers have begun to adopt modern technologies such as hand tractors, rice transplanters, and mini combine harvesters that improve efficiency and productivity, while the majority still depend on manual tools. The main obstacles include limited capital, lack of technical training, inadequate irrigation infrastructure, and resistance to change. From the perspective of Islamic economics, agricultural management should be based on the principles of sustainability (istidamah), public interest (maslahah), and distributive justice to achieve societal welfare (falah).
